So I haven’t written as much as I want to. I am having a hard time deciding what to write because I don’t know how much of this website should be a blog about life and how much should be centered around beauty products. It has been an unfortunate month for our little family. Everything is falling apart. Consumer durables don’t seem to be consumer durables in this house lately because they are high on the consuming and low on the being durable scale. First it was the top-of-the-line front loading washer that should have lasted a good 10-12 years that went out. I thought, “okay…after six years a tune up is probably needed…..” that sounded reasonable to me. We bought top-of-the-line for a reason because we didn’t want to be in the situation of having to replace it soon. So Ryan called a repair man who informed me after 15 minutes and $79 later that it wouldn’t be worth fixing. This started a chain of events that makes me scared to open the computer and use the remote. Next was the vacuum, followed shortly by a software problem on my computer, then the XBOX, and Ryan’s car stereo. Thanks to a multi-tasking session at Aubrie and Corey’s house yesterday, the computer is now working, some laundry got done, the XBOX was diagnosed (unfortunately it can’t be saved), our tummies were filled with all kinds of goodies, and we had a great time. Thank goodness for family. All of this really puts everything into perspective.
